SB09: Value Scales

Create 3 value scales on a page in your sketchbook.  Each scale should consist of 7 boxes (1″x1″) in a row (work with the page in landscape orientation).

One scale should work with shading,
one with pointillism, and
one with cross hatching.

You may want to practice on scratch paper before completing this assignment in your sketchbook because craft is of the utmost importance – do not leak outside the boxes, and be sure to measure carefully.
Use a 4B pencil for the shading scale, and your .3 ink liner for the pointillism and cross hatching scales.
All 3 of these scales should be on 1 page of your sketchbook.
