09. Five Views in Rotation

5 drawings, 25 minutes each (5 minute break between each); easels/drawing stations should be arranged in a clear ring around the model stand. The model will stay in the same position and students will move 2 easels forward, so they eventually get every view of the model.

Remember to not be afraid of making marks that are mistakes – we will build upon them. Remember to keep measuring (scale/proportions). As you rotate, keep in mind what you learned from your position on the other side of the room. Worry more about the internal dynamics of the figure rather than the environment/atmosphere.

At the end of the session, we should be able to line up your 5 drawings and feel like you are circling around the figure.
