SB01. Landmarks Refresher

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

It may have been some time since some of you have done any figure drawing. It is important to practice finding landmarks and mapping out the body and its negative spaces.

PROCESS:

You will find a figure drawing by one of the following artists and print it out to fill a 11″x8.5″ piece of paper. You will then cut out the figure, leaving a little bit of the background all the way around the figure. Use rubber cement to put the figure onto a page in your sketchbook. Then, use a green colored pencil to map the landmarks around the outer perimeter of the figure. Next, use a red colored pencil to map the landmarks on the interior of the figure.
