Why are we doing this?
Drawing in Adobe Illustrator with the Pen tool is a very useful skill to have because it allows us to draw anything we like using vectors instead of pixels. Remember that vector drawings can be re-sized without loosing any picture quality. Additionally, print-on-demand services are useful for artists hoping to sell multiples of their designs. This assignment allows us to practice both our Adobe Illustrator drawing skills and to better familiarize ourselves with a print-on-demand service.
Required supplies:
Adobe Illustrator
an internet connection (to use Zazzle.com)
$$$ – the cost of ordering your print-on-demand object
Objectives/Requirements:
You must create an Adobe Illustrator drawing using the pen tool that has a conceptual purpose for being on the object you select. For example:

– Once the design has been ok-ed, create an account on Zazzle.com and order your print-on-demand object
– We will critique all the objects as a class
