There will be 2 skills tests: one for setting up a DSLR camera for shooting video on the fly, and one for setting up the Zoom H1 audio recorder.  The following two videos demo everything you need to know.

Additionally, we will use the same check-sheet that I will use to grade you to practice in class (DSLR check-sheet & audio check-sheet).

If you generally use your own DSLR camera (different than the ones provided by the Art Department) to shoot your videos, then you will demo these skills on your camera.
