We will be working with the New Bedford Art Museum / ArtWorks! to create a special promotional piece for their 25th anniversary. We will use the content in this shared folder to create a multiple-page pamphlet that will be presented via issuu.

The required elements of the 8″x10.5″ pamphlet include:
- The front (includes the 25 year celebration logo)
- page 1 is a blurb from Ashley
- 2 pages should be devoted to a timeline
- 3 pages should be devoted to interviews (including headshot photos of those being interviewed)
- 8 pages should be devoted to photographs (images of artworks and scans of old newspaper articles) with captions
- The back cover (includes credit to our class project)
STEPS:
- Tue, Apr 10 – Intro the assignment, and prepare questions to ask Ashley, Ashley visiting to talk about the project and answer questions
- Thur, Apr 12 – Based on Ashley’s presentation and the Q&A session, develop thumbnails to describe your personal vision for the pamphlet. Be ready to present these in class.
- Tue, Apr 17 – student critique each others’ sketches
- Thur, Apr 19 – students start work on their designs
- Tue, Apr 24 – In-progress critique (Ashley might come to this crit)
- Thu, Apr 26 – students work on their designs
- Tue, May 1 – last day to work in class
- FINAL: Fri, May 4, 11:30-2:30pm (possible visit from Ashley for final crit)
