1) Read Ch 6: Place.

2) Write down 3 good discussion questions based on the reading, and put your name on that piece of paper to hand in (this will be graded).

3) In class you’ll work in small groups and trade questions with other groups. You’ll select the most interesting question to answer, and you’ll work as a team to enter your answer on Canvas. Each of you needs to complete the assignment on canvas in order to get credit. You will be graded on the thoroughness and specificity of your answer and the quality of your writing.

Things to avoid – overly simple, non-descriptive answers. Be sure to reference specific parts of the text in your answer (prove you did the reading).
