Why are we doing this? (objectives)

• To investigate majors with in CVPA and possible career options
• To recognize and utilize the intellectual community of the College of Visual and Performing Arts and resources of the University at large.
• To employ critical thinking through reflection and writing
• To engage in collaborative learning
• To participate in social and civic responsibilities/activities.

Process

Write a 1-page letter of advice to next year’s freshmen art and design students. Reflect on your freshman year as well as your entire experience on campus, and then write a letter to next year’s freshmen telling them what they should do to be successful. You can think about what you did that worked well, and also things you wished you had done, or things you would have done differently. Submit the 1-page letter as a PDF or Word Doc.
